I just checked in with the ICU folks to get an update and so far everything is going just great. Her condition is already described as "very stable" which is really good. She has been sleeping quite a bit and wakes up every hour or so to cough and then goes back to sleep. There will be a nurse in her room 100% of the time (if not 2 nurses) until she leaves the ICU.
I will probably have one more update tonight about 8:30 or 9:00. Stay tuned and we thank all of you for your thoughts and especially, the prayers! (but don't stop the praying!)
