Carol did't get much sleep because of all the activities for her. A chaplain was supposed to come at 6:15 but didn't get the word. Just before she left for surgery, we shared some bible versus with her - Sandy and Warren had sent one, Tim and Kiersten each had one, and I had one. We did our own "home church" version of a chaplain visit!
Then the entire surgery team came to take her to the OR. As we were walking, Dr. Shin mentioned that the Lord would be with them in the OR.
So now we wait for news. The team will update us at least every two hours. Stay tuned.
