Today I had a bit of a setback. I woke up feeling like my heart was pounding out of my chest. It made me feel uncomfortable all day. After debating about whether or not to call Kim, I finally called her around 4:30 pm. She reassured me that unless the heartbeat felt irregular or unless my blood pressure was really high or really low, it was probably okay. It felt to me a bit like the episode of atrial fibrillation that I had while in the hospital the night of my birthday. If it still bothers me tomorrow I can get it checked out at the hospital. There are so many unknowns in this recovery that it's a bit stressful at times.
