Dr. Angel, my cardiologist, said that I am doing great. He gave me permission to start driving again. I still have to wait another month to ride my bicycle. He also said that I may continue to have some chest pains for quite some time--it's scar tissue causing the pain. I am scheduled to have a new echocardiogram done on July 2 in order to set a new baseline for my heart function. I can also stop the Lasix, Potassium, and Pepcid pills when they run out in six days. This is all very good news!
