Carol had a great day today! First of all, we did not have to go to any Kaiser location for anything! The car didn't know where to go! Carol had two of her friends over to visit for part of the afternoon which allowed me to sneak out and get in 9 holes of golf. Thankfully, she has lots of friends.......
And you can tell she is really on the mend. Hard to believe that last week at this time she had just been operated on and was in the CVICU ward with over 30 tubes, wires, springs, rubber bands, twine and whatever else connected to her. Tonight she went shopping at Wal Mart and walked the whole way! While we took Hugo, her new walker, she really never sat in it until waiting in the checkout line. (by then, I wished I had one of those walkers!) So you can tell the difference in just one week. Dr. Shin and Nurse Kim would be proud to see her up and around. They obviously did a great job and the Kaiser team continues in that tradition supporting her along the journey.
