Today we met fellow blogger, Alice, and her husband, Ron. They are full-time RVers who are traveling with the Funtastic Shows carnival this spring and summer. They are currently working in Portland at the Rose Festival and we were able to spend the afternoon and evening with them since it was their day off. Ali and Ron are two of the nicest, down-to-earth people you would every want to meet. They kept us entertained with their stories about life with the carnival. I have a new admiration and respect for the "carnies"! Alice and Ron have been through some difficult times during their 33 years of marriage, as we all have, but it was inspiring to hear how God has been faithful in their lives and how He has worked out things to be used for His purpose.
Here's to new acquaintances and blog buddies, Alice and Ron!
One of the greatest advantages of this lifestyle is to get to meet people from all over this wonderful country. Add blogging to that and friendships just multiply.
