Dave found out that he could download a GPS application on his phone. He has a 30-day free trial to see if this is something he wants to buy for his phone. By typing our zip code into the website, we found out that there were four "caches" hidden in a park which is located 0.5 mile from our house. The cache we decided to look for was called Rock of Ages, so we presumed it would be located in one of the rocky areas of the park.
Dave uses his phone to try to locate the cache.

...or here. We didn't know what we were looking for and there were way too many rocks to look under each one. This cache mystery will have to be solved another day!
We have to learn more about the GPS application and also how to download the coordinates instead of relying on our typing skills. We weren't successful at finding the cache this time, be we will persevere!
We started Geocaching a few months ago but we haven't been in awhile. We use a handheld GPS that we download the coordinates in and then we also use the "clues" that are posted on the web page. We looked for over a week for one cache hidden in Pine Mountain. Finally found it but we had to send the "owner" an e-mail for further clues. This has been our hardest yet. It is fun when you get the hang of it. It took us a long time to just figure out the GPS. Not tech savy are we?? :)
