Another great day of vacation! Today we drove to Crater Lake. I couldn't believe how beautiful the lake is!! Truly a site worth seeing. We stopped at almost all of the lookout areas around Rim Drive. We had lunch at Rim Village and then walked up to the Lodge. I am looking forward to tseeing the Ken Burns PBS series about National Park Lodges. We watched the park movie at the information center. We drove through the Mazama Campground to check it out. I bought earrings that remind me of the sapphire color of Crater Lake. We had great weather--not a cloud in the sky. Which was prettier, the sky or the lake? The lake wins!
