8 Months After Surgery!

It's been exactly eight months since I had my aortic valve replaced with a mechanical valve.  I am feeling great.  I am so happy that I was able to make the walk up to visit Heceta Head lighthouse this morning.  Nine months ago I would not have been able to make the climb because of being short of breath.
