The kooky Christians just end up making the rest of us Christians look foolish. Has Christianity now been disproved, as some atheists are saying? Not at all. This recent debacle just proves that we all are sinners and need the forgiveness of Jesus.

It seems the followers of yesterdays doomsday prediction should read The Word themselves to realize Matt. 24;36.
ReplyDeleteAs for the atheists, may they realize that God is not mocked!
Hi Carol. There were unquestionably some regrettable results that came out of this recent silliness; however there ended up being many good points too. One positive was from our youth pastor this morning in church. He essentially said he had been inundated by youth and adults asking about all of this (End Times theology, professing faith in Jesus Christ, reading their Bible, and more). Good post.

AMEN -- well said!
ReplyDeleteAll the recent debacle proved to me is that there are still medicine men able to swindle fools out of their money. It sure doesn't make me a sinner that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteWell, folks, I only know of one Person who was sinless while walking on this earth. Maybe He anonymously reads my blog? ;)
ReplyDeleteAmen!! Thanks for sharing the sign.
ReplyDeleteWasn't that whole episode fun to watch? Do you suppose Camping made another mathematical error? But he's raking in the dough, and will continue to do so.
ReplyDeleteYep... it must have been a money-making scam that he was willing to do at the risk of his reputation. I do not believe this man was a true believer because true believers believe the Word of God. Because there were people who were expecting it to happen on that day... I was confident that it would not happen on that day.
ReplyDeleteI too saw one positive thing in this prediction. It made people stop and think... am I ready??
